2nd Intra Moot Court Competition, 2021
The Faculty of Law, Integral University organised the 2nd Intra Moot Court Competition and Prize Distribution Ceremony of certain events organized by Moot Court and Debating society on 17th-18th December 2021. The Concept of organizing moot Courts has become an integral part of the legal fraternity in the current scenario with an intention to provide opportunities to all Law students keen to learn about the jurisprudential aspect of the emerging trends in different legal spheres along with developing tremendous skills in research, writing, and advocacy.
The Competition marks its beginning from 1st December 2021, with a Training Session organized on “Essentials of Mooting and Advocacy” taken by Mohd. Kumail Haider, Advocate Hight Court, Lucknow Bench for all those students who want to take part by clearing every doubt regarding mooting. The Competition is divided into three phases i.e., Preliminary Round, Semi-Final Round and Final Round to select the best team competing with each other to present the best of their sides.
The Preliminary Round and Semi-Final Round was held on 17th December 2021 in the Faculty of Law, which was judged by faculty members of the Department.
The final round was held on 18th December 2021 in the Moot Court Room of the Faculty of Law, which was judged by an esteemed panel of Judges with two external Judges, Mr. Ausaf Ahmed Khan, Advocate High Court, Lucknow Bench and Mohd. Kumail Haider, Advocate High court, Lucknow Bench along with one faculty member Dr. Mirza Junaid Beg, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law. All three of them with their expertise in the field grilled the final two teams and choose the best one who wins the competition.
The Competition started with the welcome by Dean and Head, Dr. Naseem Ahmed with the presentation of the bouquet to the leading dignitaries of the university i.e., Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Javed Mussarrat Sir and Director Research & Development and Chief Proctor, Integral University Prof. T. Usmani Sir. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor also addressed the students by motivating them to work hard and do the best of their abilities by participating in more moot competitions in near future.
Total 12 Teams have taken part in the competition out of which 4 gave a tough fight to others to reach for semi-finals. It is also an extremely proud moment for the department that the students who are in the second year of the BA LLB and LLB program reached the finals and one wins the competition.
Guest Lecture on Essentials of Mooting & Advocacy
The Moot Court and Debating Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University, Lucknow,organized Training Session on “Essential of Mooting and Advocacy”on 1st December2021.The Resource Person for the session was Mr. Mohd. Kumail Haider Advocate, Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench.
The students from the Faculty of Law, Integral University participated and attended the session with full dedication and enthusiasm. The session introduced the fundamental aspects and importance of mooting in a law student’s life. It also provided all the information about the knowledge and skills that one needs to excel at National and International Moot court competitions. The session was interactive where all the queries of the students were wonderfully answered by the resource person.
The entire session was successfully convened by the Moot Court and Debating Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University, Lucknow.
Intra-Debate Competition
Intra Debate Competition under the supervision of Dean Student Welfare (DSW) in reference to Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav by celebrating 75 years of freedom, the competition was based on the debatable issue "Attempt to commit Sucide" on 26th October 2021.
The students from Faculty of Law, Integral University have participated with full dedication and enthusiasm. All total 12 teams were registered for the Intra Debate Competition and express their thoughts and ideas strongly with their respective motions.

Guest Lecture on Essentials of Mooting & Advocacy
Mooting is a highly useful competitive activity, which helps you in developing the core skills of research, writing, argumentation, and presentation.
This session aims to provide:
•Broad overview of the Moot Courts.
•Provide all the information, knowledge, skills, experience to participate and excel at various National and International Moot courts.
•Help to enhance argument presentation and mooting skills.
•Introduce fundamental and advanced aspects of mooting.

Intra-Debate Competition on 26th October 2021
The Moot Court & Debating Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University, Lucknow under the supervision of Dean Student Welfare (DSW) is proud to announce the "Intra Debate Competition" on the theme of "Attempt to Commit Suicide" in reference to "AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV"
The competition aims to provide a platform to students to come together and voice their opinions while augmenting their oratory skills along with their legal rationale.
The Moot Court & Debating Society with this competition seeks to improve student's public speaking skills,legal awareness and encourage law students to come forward and enhance their argumentative skills along with legal research on the much discussed topic of Attempt to Commit Suicide.

National Judgment Writing Competition
Delivering judgment in an open court is the main task a judge performs while acting judicially. It is the judgment in a case that sets a precedent for subsequent similar circumstances.
The soul of judgment writing is the correct application of the law on given facts and circumstances
With the objective to encourage participants to think like a judge and reach well reasoned and innovative conclusion to render a suitable judgement , The Moot Court & Debating Society, Faculty of law,Integral University, Lucknow is willing to organize a National Judgement Writing competition.

Training Session on Moot Court and Memorial writing
The Moot Court & Debating Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University, Lucknow is proud to announce its Training Session on the theme "The Art of Judgment Writing" on the subject "Moot Court: Memorial Drafting and Preparation of Arguments".
This technical session aims at helping students to learn the basics of judgement writing and memorial drafting, especially how to begin, language and style of judgement, application of law, evidence and factual finding and reason for the decision.
They Key Speakers of the event are Mr. Zia Ansari, Founder & Director- Zia Judicial, New Delhi and Mr. Alok Sharma, Advocate at Delhi High Court. This event is being organized in reference to the 1st National Judgment Writing Competition hosted by the Moot Court & Debating Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University, Lucknow with the aim to provide appropriate guidance regarding art of judgement writing and memorial drafting.
